The Liberian Community Association of Rhode Island (LCARI) is hosting a Flag Day Cookout on Saturday, 22 August 2020 at Shipyard Field (305 Shipyard St., Providence, RI) at 2pm.

LCARI will utilize the event to initiate our "Needs Based" Assessment and our Cultural Education Awareness Program to Crush COVID-19.

LCARI's Needs Based Assessment will be an effective tool to determine our priorities, make improvements from an organizational prospective while determining the needs and gaps of our current and future state.

For its part, Crush COVID Cultural Education Awareness Program will assist LCARI with effectively message the risk of COVID-19 utilizing cultural methods for prevention. We will also utilize the occasion to identify Translators of our 16 indigenous dialects to assist with translation of the Governor's message along with CDC and Rhode Island guidelines.

Come one come ALL!!!! Food and Water will be provided for adults and kids at no cost. LCARI will also provide masks donated by The Gentlemen's Club of Rhode Island and free Liberian Flag to the first 30 participants.
